Hi! We are just landing now, where do we find the key?
Tāhunanui, Nelson, New Zealand
Tāhunanui guests are choosing a Nelson beach base, not simply a suburb near the city. Your booking website should explain the sand, airport access, family recreation and practical links to Nelson, Stoke and Richmond.
Tāhunanui is Nelson city's closest beach, and that changes the trip from the first search. Families may want swimming, rockpools and recreation space. Flight-connected visitors may want an easy first or final night. Others want a coastal base that still gives them straightforward access to the city.
The property page should distinguish beachfront, back-street and hillside positions. It should explain the real walk or drive to the sand, whether guests can manage luggage easily, and how the stay connects to Nelson Airport without promising a silent or secluded setting.
Beach use also needs precise guidance. The dog-friendly area is Back Beach rather than the whole foreshore, and non-motorised craft use a designated access lane. Stable orientation belongs on the booking site, while current signs and council rules remain the authority.
Tāhunanui is well suited to family breaks, water-based weekends and short city-and-coast stays. It should not be folded into a broad Nelson Tasman page because its guest intent is more beach-led, more airport-connected and more recreation-focused than Richmond, Stoke or central Nelson.
A strong direct-booking page makes practical differences visible: outdoor showers, secure equipment space, child-friendly layouts, parking, shade, laundry and a clear wet-weather plan. Only features that the property actually has should appear.
State the real route to Tāhunanui Beach and which part of the foreshore is closest. Do not use a generic beach-nearby claim.
Explain airport, Route 4 and driving context, plus late check-in and luggage details that matter to flight-connected guests.
Show sleeping layouts, recreation access, equipment storage and weather alternatives instead of relying on a broad family-friendly label.
The guest CRM
The website wins the booking. The same Direct Stay system then keeps beach questions, airport arrivals and family stay details together without asking the guest to change apps.
The Direct Stay guest inbox. Four conversations that arrived on WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage and email sit in one list, and Marta Kowalski's WhatsApp thread is open beside it with a reply written in the composer.

Official tourism describes both as about five minutes away, but a property page should give its own truthful route context and avoid guaranteeing travel times.
Nelson City Council permits dogs on Back Beach, not the eastern two-thirds. Guests should follow current council signs and rules.
The beach has a designated access lane for non-motorised craft. Link guests to current council guidance rather than inventing property-specific launch advice.
It suits guests who prioritise beach and recreation access. Central Nelson may suit guests who put dining and city walkability first.
eBus Route 2 connects Nelson, Tāhunanui, Stoke and Richmond. Guests should confirm the current stop and timetable for their dates.
