Hi! We are just landing now, where do we find the key?
Parmelia, WA · Metropolitan suburb
Parmelia is a metropolitan suburb. A useful direct-booking page should turn that setting into verified decisions about the property, arrival and guest fit, while every productive OTA listing remains live beside the owned channel.
Regional image of Fremantle. Not the property.
For scale, the 2021 Census counted 6,184 residents and recorded 2,552 private dwellings, with 199 unoccupied on Census night. The responsible use is geographic context; market conclusions require current listing, enquiry and property information. Census evidence does not measure visitor or booking demand.
On the map, Parmelia falls about 22 kilometres south of Fremantle. It decides which regional photograph this page carries and nothing else; journey advice has to come from current maps and the host. The nearby guides for Orelia and Bertram give guests two useful comparison points without turning the page into an indiscriminate link list.
Almost everything in Parmelia is a standalone house: 2,218 of 2,356 occupied private dwellings, or 94.1%.
The commonest home in Parmelia is three-bedroom at 50.6% of occupied private dwellings, with 90.8% at three bedrooms or more. The 2021 count recorded 38 one-bedroom, 141 two-bedroom, 1,191 three-bedroom and 840 four-bedroom dwellings, plus 108 with five bedrooms or more. That puts Parmelia close to the Fremantle area median of 88.2% for three-bedroom-plus stock.
In 2021, 53.3% of occupied dwellings in Parmelia kept two or more motor vehicles. The split was 933 dwellings with one vehicle, 815 with two and 421 with three or more. Only 6.3% recorded no motor vehicle.
69.7% of work journeys from Parmelia were made by car on Census day. 1.3% walked or cycled. 3.8% worked from home, which is a fair proxy for whether the internet here is good enough to sell a stay on.
The commonest household in Parmelia is two-person, at 32.2% of households. 29.5% live alone and 22.4% of households hold four people or more. Across 1,619 families, 37.8% were couples with children, 34.2% couples without and 26.1% one-parent families.
The median age in Parmelia was 37 at the 2021 Census, in line with the Fremantle area median of 41. Households averaged 2.5 people and 0.7 persons per bedroom. Median rent was $280 a week, below the $355 median across the Fremantle localities DirectStay covers. Median mortgage repayments were $1,300 a month. Median household income ran to $1,297 a week, against $617 for an individual.
Tenure in Parmelia split 24.1% owned outright, 45.5% mortgaged and 28.3% rented in 2021. That is 667 rented dwellings in the locality count.
Every figure above describes the resident population of Parmelia at the 2021 Census. None of it describes visitors, nightly rates, occupancy or short-stay supply, and it must not be presented as if it did. Its use is to set expectations a host can then confirm from the property itself: the real bedroom count and bed layout, how many vehicles the space genuinely takes and whether that space is on-title or on-street, the actual route to the door, and the house rules a street of this kind will expect around noise and turnover.
The draft guest-purpose brief identifies regional touring and stopovers, family or community visits and practical multi-night stays. Actual guest questions should decide which journey receives the strongest emphasis.

Document street-level access, parking, public-transport options and the property's relationship to likely city destinations with current media and checked operational detail.
Explain the route from the guest's likely arrival point through parking, unloading and entry without guaranteeing fixed journey times.
Keep current listings active, synchronise availability and give repeat or referred guests a credible direct path.
The guest CRM
Keep arrival questions, booking changes and follow-up messages for every stay in one thread, across the channels guests already use.
The Direct Stay guest inbox. Four conversations that arrived on WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage and email sit in one list, and Marta Kowalski's WhatsApp thread is open beside it with a reply written in the composer.

Use current photographs, the exact property type, bed and bathroom configuration, maximum occupancy, access limits, parking, included amenities and maintained booking terms. Add nearby places only after checking their relevance and the route from the real address. The reused Fremantle image is editorial context and must never be described as the property or as a verified view of the locality.
Describe the verified route and the guest's practical reason for travelling between the property and a relevant destination. That 22-kilometre south figure is measured in a straight line. It is not a drive-time promise, and it does not mean Parmelia sits inside the larger market.
Begin with regional touring and stopovers, family or community visits and practical multi-night stays because those purposes are carried in the prepared locality record. Confirm them using genuine enquiries and booking history, then publish the property features, arrival information and policies each group needs. Do not turn a plausible use case into a statement about demand volume.
No. Keep productive OTA listings live while building the owned route. Synchronise calendars and commercial rules, honour the terms of existing bookings, use consent-based follow-up, and let referred or returning guests choose the direct site when appropriate. The objective is a stronger owned relationship without sacrificing distribution that already works.
